Community action and events
Our primary focus is on the Sandbanks peninsula (Shore Road to Haven Ferry). We welcome members wherever they live but only household members i.e. those from families who own or rent a property on the Sandbanks peninsula have voting rights.
Our members care about protecting Sandbanks for everyone, not just a favoured few. These case studies will give you the idea.
SCG is also has a close relationship with the John Lewis Partnership who run the hotel in the Castle.
Since 2018, SCG has been a corporate Supporter of Dorset Wildlife Trust because Brownsea Island is our nearest National Nature Reserve and an important green space for our members.
